Tales from the shop today...

This one has been in my brain for far too long! Wanted to practice shaping with my burrs... its been awhile since I pulled out those out of the toolbox!

Gonna prime and paint in the next few days...and then decide on a backer...🤔

I wanted to post up these set of ghosts, I tried... these ones didn't make the cut 🗑 🚮 👎🏼

Not everything you try works, but you just gota keep trying.🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

These ones were done up with bed sheets...it soaked up the concrete but the bed sheet didnt harden as nicely as the towels.

Next video, sorry its taken me so long, will show what you need to make a successful concrete ghost statue...stay tuned!

What a weekend playing in the shop and finishing up projects!

Had some mushrooms to get painted, and added a couple of the ghosts, and I'm so happy how things turned out!

Will be posting a couple more videos on my progress this weekend and a video of how I made these ghosts, so you can try it out!🤘🏼

Check out some new friends who've discovered my bird bath for my crow friends 🤣🤣🤣

Since losing Paco, the hubs and I focused on our little backyard oasis for the birds. We've been able to draw in quite a few birds, and have made a few crow friends this past year! This spring we've seen all the new babies that tag along with their parents, as they show them our feeding grounds 😍

Sorry for the lack of woodworking posts, but there hasn't been a lot of time for woodworking or taking footage of what I've done in the past couple months. I've been focusing on my physical and mental health, which I'm happy to report, I feel good and strong 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 Focusing on playing outside and getting some natural vitamin D 😎

In saying that, I do get in the shop and get creative when I can. Still playing around with my laser, which has been really fun! I've got a few projects on the go now, and will post up really soon, I promise!

I hope y'all are doing good, or good as you can be 🤘🏼
