We spend so much time thinking about how we shape our homes.
But we rarely stop to consider..

How is my home shaping me?

Does it encourage conversation?
Rest?
Creativity?
Connection?

Or does it quietly create stress every single day?

Our homes influence our habits, our mood and our relationships.
It influences how we see ourselves.

That's why I don't think interior design is really about decorating.
I think it's about creating an environment that supports the life you want to live.

Because the emotional impact of home lasts far longer than any decorating trend.

Sometimes the hardest design decision has nothing to do with design, it's deciding what to let go of.

The dining table where birthdays were celebrated.
Your parents' china cabinet.
The chair everyone fought over.

These pieces carry stories. So when we downsize or renovate, we're not simply choosing furniture, we're deciding which parts of our lives come with us.

I've found that honouring the memory doesn't always require keeping the object. Sometimes one treasured piece, thoughtfully incorporated into a new home, carries more meaning than an entire room filled with things we no longer use.

Your home should tell your story, not store your past.

Which piece of furniture could you never part with?

You’re probably scared of making an expensive mistake you’ll have to live with for years.

And honestly? That fear is valid.
Renovation decisions are expensive.

And permanent.

The wrong layout.
Poor lighting.
Finishes that looked great separately—but don’t work together once installed.
These are the things that create regret.

The good news?
Most renovation mistakes are preventable with the right planning.

That’s where I come in ✨

Hard hat? ✔️
Safety vest? ✔️
Steel-toed boots just out of frame? Maybe. 😉

People often think interior design is all paint colours, fabrics, and pretty finishes.

The truth is, there's another side to this job—job sites, measurements, problem-solving, trade meetings, and making hundreds of decisions that keep a project moving forward.

It's not always glamorous.

But it sure can be fun when the elevator isn't operational yet and the unit we are working on is on the 5th floor! That's the best part of the job, finding ways to get things done.

And yes... I do smile every time I walk onto a construction site, because I love it!

Shout out to the person who made my day so fun, Nikkie Millar xo

People often assume that what I do is about kitchens, bathrooms, finishes, and furnishings. And while those things certainly matter, they're not really why I do this work.

What I truly love is helping people move from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to feeling calm, clear, and confident.

My job is about listening, carefully. Understanding how you live and learning about what matters to you. That way I can then help you make decisions that feel right, that tell your story—not just today, but for years to come.

It is my privilege to be able to help homeowners create spaces that reflect who they are.

Thank you for trusting me with your homes, your dreams, and often, your next chapter. It is work I never take for granted.

Many of my clients aren't just renovating.

They're navigating a life transition.

Perhaps they're becoming empty nesters. Downsizing after decades in a family home. Moving into a new condo. Retiring. Or simply recognizing that their home no longer supports the life they're living today.

These decisions deserve more than design advice.

They deserve thoughtful guidance, honest conversations, and an advisor who can help make the next chapter feel exciting rather than overwhelming.

Your home should evolve as your life evolves.

And you don't have to figure it out alone.

✨ What chapter are you entering right now?

One of the most valuable things I provide my clients isn't a floor plan, a paint colour, or a furniture layout.

It's peace of mind.

Knowing that someone with experience is looking at the big picture.
Knowing that decisions are being made thoughtfully.
Knowing that costly mistakes can be avoided.
Knowing that there is a clear plan.

Home projects can feel overwhelming. They don't have to.

Whether you're building, renovating, furnishing a new home, or wondering where to start, sometimes the most important first step is simply having a conversation.

Because confidence changes everything.

Saved 437 Pinterest images and still don't know where to start?

Every week, I meet homeowners who have saved hundreds of beautiful images but still don't know where to begin. They're overwhelmed by decisions, worried about making expensive mistakes, and unsure who to trust.

That's where I come in.

My role isn't simply to help you choose finishes or furnishings. It's to help you make confident decisions, create a clear path forward, and ensure your home supports the way you want to live.

Because a beautiful home begins with clarity.
