Apologies, I won’t be at the Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market today as I have a frozen shoulder and mobility is limited. It’s frustrating as I was looking forward (Finnegan too!) to seeing everyone and sharing some new creations.

I hope by next week I’m better. In the meantime if you’re interested in anything or would like to ask about my products, drop me a line!

Making some coasters this afternoon and I pulled this one out of my tub of corks. I’ll take it as a little sign.

Some new and very unique coasters coming your way to the tomorrow, Saturday August 15th! These are made from parts of a vintage wine 🍷 crate from some wonderful wines, cut into a puzzle 🧩 shape so you can rest your glass but also do a (pretty easy!) puzzle in between sips. A definite conversation piece and less expensive than the wines these crates once held!

Experimenting with a new medium. I’ve been up and down emotionally a lot lately and I’m trying to give myself some grace. I’ve been wanting to try painting 🎨 with wine 🍷, yes WINE, for weeks now and finally sat down this evening to play and experiment. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a group of willing individuals who like drinking wine, try painting with it? This is my plan for sometime in the near future, to host painting with wine classes. Until then, I’ll keep working on improving and experimenting with wine. Until then, enjoy these lupins painted with Nova Scotia Lucie Kuhlmann wine and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Can you guess which is which?

A little bit of a wet morning ☔️ at the Tatamagouche Farmer's Market but it’s holding off except for the random sprinkle! 💦 This week I made some wine 🍷 jelly and have it for sampling. This is great on a cheese 🧀 board, a gourmet peanut 🥜 butter and jelly sandwich, warmed up as a dessert 🍮 topping, even with meats. $8 a jar.

What would you hang on this unique wine barrel coat rack? Where would you hang it? It has some black iron anchors and two vintage old faucet handles I fashioned (with the help of coupling nuts and hardware) into some hangers that I thought were reminiscent of a ships wheel. Finished with some steel barrel straps I cut and attached to give a nod back to the wine barrel it used to be. I’ll be at the Tatamagouche Farmer's Market tomorrow come by and take a closer look!
