Stoked to be accepted to the latest upcoming edition of .visionary.arts gallery show “Portals to the Divine”! This is their 11th year running, and I’m really happy to have a few pieces accepted into the virtual gallery. Save the date for tons of art events in person in Toronto, if you happen to be lucky enough to live nearby, and stay tuned as well for more info on how to view the virtual gallery once it’s launched. Still plugging away on this
My challenge to “use more green” is certainly shaping up hahaha. It’s rainy and cold today (I live in Uruguay so southern hemisphere - almost winter solstice!) and despite moving hemispheres for 5 years now, I’ve still not gotten accustomed to my birthday month being a winter month. What can you do I guess! Stay inside and paint is the answer. Either that or plan a trip to somewhere that’s lush and green like in my painting. Kinda working on that too!

Little of what’s on the easel, it’s been on the sidelines for a few months now. I feel like I just keep looking at it, then collaging and collaging more stuff in there ahah, sometimes just kinda difficult to know when to stop with the glue and when to start painting back into it. I think it’s getting to about that point. My challenge with this piece was to use more green since normally I’m never really using much green:)

Here is a digital astral painting of my cat suji. I bought him some sunglasses and here he is as an OG space cat. When we are apart I feel him watching over me in the astral or spirit realm. Very good boi. Additionally, I’m not sayin im doing pet portraits buuuuut if you wanted a space pet portrait…. I would be willing to talk details 😂 hope ya enjoy ✨

Oldie but a goodie 🌕
“Gotu Kola” - 2020 (cropped version!)
Inspired by the plant friend, created during ‘s course in Costa Rica at Punta Mona, where I just so serendipitously happened to be volunteering. I found upon research that tigers traditionally rubbed themselves in gotu kola fields to heal their wounds. This piece is a digital enhancement of the original acrylic painting! Prints available in my website!
