Specializing in diverting heavy, durable materials from landfill. Stop by our REUSE Marketplace!

We work tirelessly to reintroduce individual components from the various materials we process back into appropriate manufacturing lines. By doing so, we divert waste from our landfills and reduce Green House Gas emissions associated with the production of new heavy, durable materials, such as carpet. Our recycling and environmental services are leading the way in Ontario. Viking Recycling is the only independent primary recycling facility dedicated to carpet, LVT, VCT, ceiling tile and other difficult-to-recycle materials in Canada. When it comes to recycling in Toronto, may it be recycling carpet or recycling ceiling tile, Viking Recycling leads the way.

🎉 12 years. 23 million pounds. Zero compromise.

Circular Partners turns 12 today, and we just passed 23 million lbs. diverted from landfill.

We started the business with one goal: protect the environment. That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is what we’ve learned along the way. A strong business is built by people who are treated well. So we’ve made it our mission to create great jobs, real balance, and a team that takes care of each other. Watching our people thrive has become one of the best parts of this whole journey.

And we’ve never gone soft on the planet. Our Zero Landfill policy still stands. We still say no to the easy way out. We’ve pulled millions of pounds of plastics out of the Canadian land, and we’re not slowing down.

To our clients, partners, and our incredible team: thank you for growing with us.

Here’s to the next 12 years and beyond.

Every year our team heads out to enjoy some nature together. This year’s retreat took us to Georgian Bay for some relaxation, celebration and time together outside the office. These are well-earned moments for our amazing team (Fern, Lilly, Denis, Seth, Luca, Juan & Nate) to enjoy the environment that we work hard to protect every day. We are very thankful for our business, our customers and our roles to protect the green spaces we all value so much. A special thank you to those on our team who could not make the trip this year, Kathleen and Bill, as well as a shout out to Marisa who was there in spirit. We will also never forget our hombre Alejandro who was always a a part of these retreats and will always be with us. 💙 Thank you team Circular Partners. Thank you nature.

Another project in the books! Earlier this week, our team just wrapped up a full carpet and electronic waste removal with one of our long-standing partners in the heart of downtown Toronto🌱

From removal, pickup to processing, every item is sorted for its Highest & Best Use and kept out of landfill through our designated sustainable solutions. We’re grateful for partners who go the extra mile to ensure these materials have a destination that preserves their embodied carbon value as much as possible.

This project adds to our running total of 22 million+ lbs diverted from landfill, as well as over 106 million lbs of CO2 equivalent reduced over the past 12 years.

If your building needs support keeping these types of materials out of landfill, contact us to learn how we can help you meet your LEED or ESG goals.

What an incredible afternoon! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our event - Cleaning Our Air Through Sustainable Material Management.

We had wonderful and insightful conversations with many of you. It was a great reminder of why this work matters. The tide is turning and the demand for sustainable solutions in our community has never been more clear.

We’re so grateful for every connection made and every story shared. Can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Some trips are planned. This one was meant to be.

When recently renovated their carpet, they didn’t just take the easy route and throw the old material into a dumpster. They chose a circular solution with us to combat the hospitality industry’s “take-make-waste” cycle.

We chose a circular solution because we believe in protecting the land as much as we care for our guests.” — Lisa Levasseur, President of INNhotels

We were so inspired by their dedication to the planet that we hosted our Operations Team trip at their Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn this past April. We had an amazing time! Hitting the slopes with equipment from E-biking through the mountain air with Exploring wild country Coming home each night to the warmth and Western hospitality of Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn!

What started as a sustainability project, finding an environmentally responsible solution for old carpet, quietly grew into something none of us could have scripted. No photo can prepare you for seeing the mountains in real life. If you’re looking for some fun mixed with beautiful scenery, we highly recommend visiting Canmore and the team at Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn – tell them we sent you!

Join us for an insightful event exploring the hidden link between materials and the air we breathe. While emissions from transportation are well known, every material carries a “carbon debt” from extraction, manufacturing, and transport — known as embodied carbon.

Circular Partners will share how keeping over 21 million pounds of materials in circulation helps avoid new production and the emissions that come with it.

We’ll also be collecting laundered denim and sorted 100% cotton items for FREE at this event.

Let’s help Toronto breathe easier. See you there!
