Circular Partners

Circular Partners Specializing in diverting heavy, durable materials from landfill. Stop by our REUSE Marketplace!

We work tirelessly to reintroduce individual components from the various materials we process back into appropriate manufacturing lines. By doing so, we divert waste from our landfills and reduce Green House Gas emissions associated with the production of new heavy, durable materials, such as carpet. Our recycling and environmental services are leading the way in Ontario. Viking Recycling is the o

nly independent primary recycling facility dedicated to carpet, LVT, VCT, ceiling tile and other difficult-to-recycle materials in Canada. When it comes to recycling in Toronto, may it be recycling carpet or recycling ceiling tile, Viking Recycling leads the way.

Some trips are planned. This one was meant to be.

When recently renovated their carpet, they didn’t just take the easy route and throw the old material into a dumpster. They chose a circular solution with us to combat the hospitality industry’s “take-make-waste” cycle.

We chose a circular solution because we believe in protecting the land as much as we care for our guests.” — Lisa Levasseur, President of INNhotels

We were so inspired by their dedication to the planet that we hosted our Operations Team trip at their Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn this past April. We had an amazing time! Hitting the slopes with equipment from E-biking through the mountain air with Exploring wild country Coming home each night to the warmth and Western hospitality of Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn!

What started as a sustainability project, finding an environmentally responsible solution for old carpet, quietly grew into something none of us could have scripted. No photo can prepare you for seeing the mountains in real life. If you’re looking for some fun mixed with beautiful scenery, we highly recommend visiting Canmore and the team at Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn – tell them we sent you!

1,776 steps later… we made it to the top!

Our team had an incredible time conquering the yesterday for the climb.

Shoutouts to Denis, Anastasia, Lilly, Bryan, Fernando, GraceKelly & KeL, for supporting the cause and testing their limits!

We’re so proud to support the vital work WWF is doing to restore ecosystems, fight climate change, and protect wildlife. We battle alongside you everyday with our work at Circular Partners.

Giving back is core to who we are. Every year we donate 4% of our annual profits to impactful charities in our community and beyond, and we are so honoured that this year’s donation is going to help the WWF continue their mission to regenerate Canada.

Big thanks to everyone who cheered us on and donated to the cause!

Join us for an insightful event exploring the hidden link between materials and the air we breathe. While emissions from transportation are well known, every material carries a “carbon debt” from extraction, manufacturing, and transport — known as embodied carbon.

Circular Partners will share how keeping over 21 million pounds of materials in circulation helps avoid new production and the emissions that come with it.

We’ll also be collecting laundered denim and sorted 100% cotton items for FREE at this event.

Let’s help Toronto breathe easier. See you there!

We’re excited to spotlight this incredible set from The Coal Mine of Eureka Day!

The carpet tiles featured here were sourced from our REUSE Marketplace. After the show, they’ll return to our facility for a third life, keeping valuable materials out of landfill once again.

This is proof that theatre in Canada can be sustainable with thoughtful planning and the right partnerships. Organizations like Rescene Canada are helping lead the way toward a more circular, responsible future for the arts.

Together, we’re showing that sustainability and stunning design can go hand in hand. Shop our REUSE Marketplace here - https://circularpartners.ca/reuse-marketplace/

It’s been a year since we lost our brother Alejandro to cancer. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about him.

Our team has always been strong, and we organize many events in and outside of work. A couple years back when we all went curling together, Alex slipped on the ice, earning yet another nickname - ‘The Ice Dolphin’. It was always good times and jokes with him around, no matter the circumstance.

Last week, to commemorate his passing, and to honour our friend, we came together as a team for the inaugural Alejandro Martinez ‘Ice Dolphin Memorial Bonspiel’. It was ‘Los Rockeros Picantes’ vs. ‘The Hogliners’. It meant so much to have the team together, share some laughs, and find a little light on a heavy day. Thanks to the for hosting our event.

This one’s for you, Alex. Always in our hearts.
