August came and went with plenty of goodbyes 👋

A lot of special pieces found new homes last month, from our archive sale and open house to our latest art drop. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shopped online, came to the showroom, and continues to support Bonne Choice ❤️

It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye, but we love knowing these pieces are heading somewhere new and being enjoyed all over again.

The Tongue Chair by Pierre Paulin, 1967.

Designed for Artifort, the Tongue Chair was one of Paulin’s earliest experiments with sculptural, foam-based seating. Its compact, curved form was designed to support the body while taking up minimal space, a simple idea that became an instantly recognizable piece of 20th-century design.

Our original black-upholstered example is currently on display at our showroom 😉

You guys really showed up for the sale (and our open house!) - and, judging by the number of you who told us you needed a little more time to shop…we listened.
