A whole different kind of Vegas: early morning workouts (ok that’s normal), cooking in my hotel room, lights out at 9pm…like who is this chick?! (Not gonna lie, kinda loved it🙋🏻♀️).
But obviously the real highlight was HYROX Vegas.
What made it so awesome wasn’t just the race — it was for sure the people. So many fun conversations, unreal energy, and def the first time I really felt the HYROX community in a real way. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by people who love pushing themselves and sweatin’ it out together - it’s my fave.
Met Jules in person after we’d randomly been put in a Zoom BOR earlier that week. She came, she paparazzi’d, and she (very!) patiently put up with me casually talking to basically every person we came across. It was awesome. Thanks Julie!
Also raced against some super cool chicks who went hard, all the way to the end. After the race I asked one of them how old she was.
“26.”
“How old are you?”
“45.”
“What?! You’re 45?!”
As she almost spits her water out while very clearly holding back the F you sitting right at the tip of her tongue. Haaaaa. Yep, sure am!😂💃🏻🙋🏻♀️😁
