Dream job alert: we’re hiring a Jam Maker’s Assistant to join our kitchen team! 🍑
This is a hands-on role supporting our jam production, working directly with our owner and lead jam maker Bobby, and helping keep the day-to-day production process organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with jam production, including scaling recipes, jarring, capping, and labeling
- Assist in cleaning and maintenance
- Maintaining accurate and organized jam inventory
- Assisting with production scheduling and batch record keeping
- Assembling wholesale and retail orders
- Managing the order clipboard and keeping production priorities organized
- Assisting with ingredient ordering
- Helping keep Bobby, our Head Jam Maker, on track with production
Kitchen experience is required, along with strong organizational and basic administrative skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, comfortable working in a busy kitchen, and enjoys keeping things organized and moving forward.
Pay is commensurate with experience, with an increase following a successful 3-month training period.
