Hidden behind these doors is a fully custom dressing room designed to feel like a private boutique.
White oak chevron flooring, integrated lighting, tailored millwork, and thoughtful storage solutions were layered together to create a space that feels elevated, functional, and quietly luxurious.

Designed to meet — and exceed — my client’s vision. ✨

Thoughtful kitchen storage is about more than organization — it’s about creating ease in the everyday. Every drawer, cabinet, and hidden detail was designed with intention so this kitchen feels as beautiful to live in as it looks. The best kitchens aren’t just seen… they’re experienced.

We added a lot of storage to this main floor renovation, but the one that made the biggest difference was this cabinet.

At first glance, it just reads like a piece of furniture, but it’s actually doing a lot more behind the scenes. We reworked the HVAC and air exchange systems, moved them from the middle of the room to the exterior wall, and then built everything into this millwork so it could all be hidden.

Doing that really improved the flow of the main floor, but more importantly, it finally made the space feel comfortable in a way it hadn’t before.

I’m so glad what started as a kitchen renovation turned into a full main floor transformation, because I know this is what gave Joanne and John a home that finally feels thoughtfully finished.

I still think about this dining space at this time of year.

It was part of our West Beach project for Barb & Dave, and from the beginning, we knew it needed to feel connected to the family room, but still have its own sense of coziness.

The banquette really became the heart of it. It adds that softness… that “stay a little longer” feeling. The kind of spot where dinners stretch out and no one’s in a rush to leave the table.

Barb told me she smiles every time she walks in, and honestly, that’s always the goal.

I know everyone loves a good before and after, and I want to share a bit of the story behind our recently completed Beach project.

This main floor was dated and closed off, so I proposed opening up the space so everything could flow together more naturally.

I redesigned the kitchen, dining, and living room to better support how they actually live day to day, and layered in furnishings they genuinely love and feel comfortable living with.

Now it’s both practical and beautiful, and feels much more like a home that supports their everyday life.

It’s not every day we get to photograph a client in their finished space, but moments like this are always special to me. Seeing Joanne here, in a space that now feels so completely like her and her husband, is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

More photos from The Beach Project coming soon.

This project was recently featured in The National Post, and it’s one I’ve been especially excited to share.

I’m thrilled about the transformation, but just as much about the story behind it, and how familiar it might feel.

The clients bought this home thinking it would be the one, but after living in it for a few months, something just didn’t feel right. The layout felt closed off, the finishes felt dated, and they started to question whether they had made the right decision. Instead of moving on, they chose to stay and figure out how to make the home work for them.

It’s a story I see often. That moment where your home doesn’t quite match how you want to live, but you’re not sure what to do next.

If that feeling sounds familiar, this is a really good one to read.

I design your family room, and suddenly it’s the space everyone wants to be in.

It’s usually where the night ends up. People just kind of settle in and conversations go a little longer. That part isn’t random, we plan for that.

If your family room isn’t being used like that, it’s probably where I’d start.

You can message me if you’ve been thinking about it.
