The owner wanted to open up the space and create a true open concept layout, so we made it happen. Since the wall we removed was load bearing, a beam was required to properly support the structure.

To make that possible, we broke up the slab and excavated at the beam’s endpoints to prepare for proper support. We then installed rebar and poured concrete footings to create a solid base, ensuring the steel columns and beam are fully supported and built to last.
