Yesterday, the Nova Scotia antiques community lost an all star. For those of us lucky enough to have known Rhénore and her shop in Great Village, we know how incredibly talented and genuine she was. She may not have been the most social person, but the stories she told the world through the objects she curated are ones that stay with us forever. I would not be the person I am today without her and I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world to have had her as a mentor, friend, and treasure hunting companion. I hope that her influence will always show through in my work and remind people how much of a trailblazer she truly was. Love you forever my friend 🖤

It may be part of the shop now but it is a huge chapter of my story and life as a shopkeeper so I am grateful to have captured this moment in time 🤍

The shop is constantly evolving and growing in different ways. Here is a ‘new’ room that I’ve just opened on the second floor, a studio room that showcases my favourite aesthetic. This room will house a growing collection of samples, swatches, and inspiration for interiors. I can’t wait to help you find inspiration for your next design project 🖤

Nothing says timeless garden style more than terracotta in my mind. Every year I bring in more and more of these stunning moss covered vessels because one simply could never have too many pots to plant. To me, they’re like the pillows of your patio. The more you have, the better it looks!

Hope to see lots of you this weekend for the Sappho Griffin pop-up ! And don’t forget to hit up the first outdoor Four Points Vintage Market field market of the season!

I’ve returned from my buying trip to Brimfield and the shop is full of fantastic pieces, new and old. Now that the summer season is quickly approaching we are adding Wednesdays to the schedule!

New weekly hours are Wednesday to Saturday 11-5 and Sundays 12-4
