Had a young German woman do a work/stay at our farm this summer. She tackled this huge horseshoe shaped garden bed that was choked out with periwinkle. A horrible invasive groundcover. I’m covering it thick with cardboard and ready to plant some nice aggressive natives - Nootka rose, Ninebark, snowberry… PS that’s is the little cabin workers stay in. Cozy cot, desk and drawers. Outhouse nearby plus use of our house.

Collecting and packing native plant seeds for Ships Point Native Seed Library (on Tozer road, F***y Bay, BC). Which will be set up first week of Sept. A great resource for us to grow plants that will thrive and benefit wildlife.
