Six years. ❤️

It’s a little hard to believe.

Six years ago I took a leap and launched JP Designs, with absolutely no idea where it would take me.

Since then there have been incredible clients, beautiful projects, awards I never expected, a few moves across the country, a LOT of coffee (and wine 😂), plenty of sleepless nights, some tears, and more lessons than I could ever count.

But somewhere along the way, I stopped wondering if I could do this and started realizing… I am doing it.

I’m incredibly grateful to every client, builder, contractor, friend and family member who has trusted me, referred me, encouraged me or simply cheered me on.

Six years later, I still love what I do — and I’m more excited than ever about what’s ahead.

Here’s to year seven. 🤍

✨ Project Update! ✨

One of my favourite parts of a renovation is this stage... when everything still looks a little chaotic, but you can finally see the vision coming together.

This bathroom is well on its way! The tile has been installed, the freestanding tub is in place (and safely wrapped until the project is complete), the heated towel warmer is mounted, and it's exciting to watch all of the design selections come together exactly as planned.

There are still a few finishing touches to go, but that's the beauty of a renovation—every day brings it one step closer to becoming an incredible space.

Sometimes the prettiest projects are a little messy before they become beautiful. 😊

Vintage lamp: ✔️

Ace-approved: ✔️

I found this gorgeous vintage lamp and couldn’t resist bringing it home. The timeless details and beautiful craftsmanship are exactly why I’ve been loving vintage pieces lately.

Within minutes, Ace had already decided it belonged to him. 😂🐾

I guess we both have pretty good taste.

Now excuse me while I try to convince him that the lamp isn’t actually his.
