Join me for a day in the life of a very busy Monday! 💕✨

Today started with a drive into the city, then we popped into spend the morning with of to film a new episode of Made in Winnipeg TV ☕️, then Jeff Buhse and I finally get to check out @ for lunch 🍕(10/10), then headed over to Hudson Bagels | Uniquely WPG to film a second episode for made in Winnipeg. After that - a stop at NAILS 4 YOU | Award Winning Nail Bar to put NFC chips in my fresh nails (coolest thing EVER!) 💅, and then it was straight into getting everything ready for a BIG day at Coal and Canary - our fall/holiday photoshoot 📸🕯️! Of course my printer had to break at the end of it all! 😜😂

I’m bringing you along for the day again today and will be sharing lots more from today’s shoot - including some sneak peeks! 👀✨

We’re incredibly honoured to announce that Coal and Canary has been nominated for the 2026 Community Impact Award at the Purolator She & Success Business Awards. 🥳💖

What started at a kitchen table in 2014 has grown into something so much bigger than candles. Over the past 12 years, we’ve had the privilege of creating products that bring comfort into homes, employing so many amazing people throughout our journey, supporting countless charities and fundraisers, championing Canadian makers, and building a community that believes in shopping small.💖
