The first end grain cutting board I made.
Black walnut and rock maple, it's had a lot of use in the last 15 years, and is still in great shape.
Thays the beauty of end grain cutting boards, they are durable, and more gentle on your knife.

Countertops are almost finished. A couple more days to cure, then I'll add a graphine and ceramic coating.

Well here it is. The last two pieces to be made in my Fort McMurray home.
Thanks again everyone for your love and support over the years. Its hard to close up shop here, but am excited to see what the next chapter and adventure brings.
Its time to be off to be the 5th generation on my family farm.

Its with a heavy heart to say that Blades and Blocks is moving. We are not able to take any more orders at this time.
Fort McMurray, you have been home to me for 19 years, and have supported this business from the first day it started. So many memories, so many projects and a few dreams have come to life in this space. This is where the magic happened.
It isn't goodbye for ever, we'll be moving back to my family farm where I grew up in New Brunswick, so stay tuned for more adventures.
Until we meet again, everyone that has supported me, thank you ! And lots of love. Because of you, this happened.
Onto the next chapter.
