A new landscape, born from a fracture.
In Japanese ceramics, there is a concept called *keshiki* (景色), meaning “landscape.” It refers to the unique visual character of a piece — the subtle variations in its glaze, form, texture, and even the traces left by time.
Through kintsugi, a fracture becomes part of that landscape.
The golden lines do not erase what happened. They become something new to appreciate, adding another layer to the character of the bowl.
The same piece, with a different landscape.
