Carving this stamp took me about 2.5 hours from start to finish. 🫪

One thing that makes a huge difference is using carving tools in different sizes. Larger tools help remove material faster, while the smaller ones make it much easier to carve fine details and clean edges.🙂‍↕️

It takes a little longer to switch between tools, but the final stamp turns out much cleaner and the carving process becomes much more efficient.☺️😉

For me, creating simple designs and bringing them to life with ink is pure joy.

Sometimes I don’t even think about what the final result will look like. I just let myself enjoy the process and be fully present in the moment.

Maybe that’s the real magic of printmaking.

The easiest way to transfer your design onto linoleum ✨

A few simple tips can make a big difference:
• Use a soft pencil for a cleaner transfer.
• As you retrace your design, you have one last chance to tweak and improve it before carving.
• No special tools needed just a pencil, your sketch, and your lino.

Sometimes, the simplest techniques are the most effective.
