It's officially been one month since we brought Rosie home from her emergency vet stay. We are so happy to say that Rosie's recent bloodwork has shown massive improvements for her liver. We still have a little bit to go before it's "normal" so she is still on liver support and antibiotics for now.

Our next step will be for her to see a cardiologist in the coming months to take a closer look at her enlarged heart. She'll also need another ultrasound in a few months to monitor the mass in her spleen and make sure it doesnt grow or change because we weren't able to get it tested safely. This girl has been through hell and back and I will forever be in awe at how resilient she is.

I will forever be so so grateful for this community of amazing humans who kept checking in on us, sent loving messages, donated to Rosie's GoFundMe and shared her story.

My care cards state that 95% of sale proceeds go towards my pets and well, truer words have never been spoken at this point. I've made these little cups in honour of Rosie's continuous journey and fight, and to help go toward her ongoing vet bills - aptly named Rosie's Cups. The elves are working away at the Mild Tofu workshop in preparation for this holiday season, and by that I mean I'm spending many many hours at .ca and in my freezing cold basement storage unit sanding every single piece.

Prepping stock for and as well as TWO multi-day holiday markets has not been easy peasy lemon squeezey but I'm so excited to help you find the perfect mug for your loved ones or maybe some Saucy Bi***es for *that* friend.

There ain't nothing spookier than a cracked piece or damaged kiln shelf so remember to compress those bottoms, slow dry pieces with attachments and please don't go too crazy with your glaze-y.

As a kid, I was super camera shy (and also just shy in general) and could only be convinced to pose for a photo if my dad bribed me with tic tacs. It's only in the last few years that Ive really started to feel truly comfortable in my body and confident in my sense of self. Allowing myself to embrace what makes me who I am and to be unapologetic for it has been one of the best things I've done for myself; instead of worrying so much about what others may think of me, I started to prioritize what I think of me.

I got to take part in this super cool project by who wanted to capture portraits of 100 different women in the Vancouver area. The little kid in me was a bit nervous about having a camera so focused on my face but Tina provided such a welcoming and safe space that I quickly felt at ease following her pose directions. Not to mention she made my hair look so lush that I want to frolic in a meadow like a wild horse 🐴
