WE’RE HIRING ✨

There’s something really special about finding the right people to grow with.

Meme Brooks Design has always been about more than creating beautiful spaces. It’s about the people behind them — the ideas, the details, the conversations, the problem-solving, and all of the care that goes into bringing a vision to life.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Project & Admin Coordinator to become part of our team.

Someone who genuinely loves design. Someone organized, thoughtful, proactive, and excited to be involved in the process from behind the scenes. Someone who notices the little things, keeps projects moving, and cares just as much about how everything comes together as we do.

Experience in the design industry and strong project management skills are important, but finding the right person matters just as much to us.

If this feels like you — or makes you immediately think of someone — we would truly love to hear from you. 🤍

If a space is going to surround you every day, it should feel like it belongs to you.

That’s the part of design we love most.

Creating rooms that are beautiful, yes — but also functional, layered, personal, and a little unexpected.

A home should hold your routines, your collections, your memories, your favourite objects, and the details that make the space feel unmistakably yours.

That’s why every project looks different.

Different proportions.
Different textures.
Different stories.
Different solutions.

From interior design to staging, the goal is never to create a room that simply photographs well.

It’s to create one that feels considered from every angle — and has enough personality to stay with you after you’ve left it.

Beautiful can be functional.
Functional can be creative.
And good design should never feel generic.

The goal with this project was simple: create a home that feels beautiful, functional, organized, and full of character.

We leaned into a West Coast modern direction, layering natural materials, warm wood tones, soft contemporary elements, and a subtle farmhouse influence to keep the space grounded and inviting.

But for us, good design is never just about how a room looks.

It’s about how it works.

How you move through it. How you use it every day. How the materials, layout, storage, and details all come together to make life feel a little easier — while still giving the home a strong point of view.

That’s the feeling behind this reveal:

This is how I want my home to look.

Functional. Creative. Warm. Distinctive. And designed to actually be lived in.

Mid-century modern has a way of sitting perfectly between worlds.

It connects modern and classic.
Clean lines and warmth.
Structure and nature.
Simplicity and character.

That’s why the palette feels so timeless.

You get the richness of wood, the depth of olive and ochre, the softness of cream, the earthiness of rust, and the balance of muted blues and greens.

It never feels flat.
It never feels overly trendy.
And it never feels like a blank space waiting for personality.

In interior design, that depth creates a home that feels layered and intentional.

In staging, it helps a property stand out without feeling overly styled or too specific.

Because the best spaces aren’t just “neutral.”

They have a point of view.

And mid-century modern gives you one without sacrificing timelessness.

There’s something about a mid-century palette that just works.

Terracotta. Espresso. Mustard yellow. Burgundy. Honey brown.

Rich, warm, slightly nostalgic — but when paired with clean lines and thoughtful finishes, these colours feel anything but dated.

In a bathroom, they bring depth without needing to overcomplicate the design.

A little retro. A lot of character. And still completely timeless.

Which one are you choosing?

Staging isn’t about filling a space.

It’s about understanding what the space needs and knowing when enough is enough.

For this home, we worked with the architecture, the natural light and many of the existing elements, then introduced furniture, texture, art, lighting and carefully considered details to give each room its own sense of purpose.

Nothing added simply for the sake of adding.
Nothing overdone.

Just intentional choices that made the home feel warmer, more complete and ready to be experienced.

Because good staging should never distract from the property.

It should help you see its potential.

08/19/2026

The process. The result.
And everything intentional in between.

Every detail is considered. Every element has a purpose. Every piece is designed to feel like it belongs exactly where it is.

Because beautiful design isn’t just about adding something pretty to a space. It’s about creating something custom, thoughtful and completely unique to the environment around it.

From the first idea to the final installation — intentional design, made to elevate the entire experience. ✨

Turns out, good design is kinda chic💅

Real wood. Local artists. Ladies who build things. Custom pillows. Obsessing over the lighting. Mixing vintage with new. Custom-made furniture. A cocktail lounge whenever possible. Samples organized by colour. A little MCM obsession. And wallpapering even the smallest room.

Some might call it particular.
I call it having standards😉

What’s your kinda chic design non-negotiable?

Some traditions are simply too beautiful not to continue. 🌸

Dinner En Fleur began as our annual designer tradition, an opportunity to style a dîner en fleurs, bring a little creativity to the table, and then fill that table with people we love.
Now in our second year, seeing so many of the same wonderful friends return made the evening feel even more special.

Beautiful flowers, thoughtful details, incredible food, a little champagne and caviar, but ultimately, it’s always the people around the table who make the evening what it is.

Here’s to Dinner En Fleur becoming a tradition we make room for every year. 🌸🥂
