We don’t always have the capacity in store to help, so that’s why we’re thrilled to announce Cheryl’s Knit & Crochet Clinic is back!

Think of this as your troubleshooting lifeline, a dedicated session where you can bring in any project, no matter how big or small, and get one-on-one guidance. Whether you’re stuck on a tricky stitch, struggling with pattern jargon, or just need some reassurance that you’re on the right track, Cheryl is here to help.

Spooky season is here! We’re so excited to have textile artist, proud crazy cat lady, and all-around wonderful human Leah Churchley back at Baaad Anna’s for a spooky-season embroidery class! 🖤🎃 This time, she’s bringing us a particularly purrfect project: a witch’s feline companion, accompanied by a vibrant little pumpkin.

This beginner-friendly class is on Saturday, October 17 from 2–5pm and it’s a spooktacular way to spend a fall afternoon while learning some foundational embroidery stitches. Your kit includes everything you need to get started. Just bring a small pair of embroidery scissors and a pen!

WELCOME BACK SOCKTOBER 🧦

Baaad Anna’s is once again teaming up with STASH Lounge, Paula & Rebecca and Little Red Mitten Yarn Store to collect new socks for local organizations and mutual aid groups supporting people in our community.

Bring us packs of new, store-bought socks and get an entry into the BA SOCKtober prize basket. One ticket per pair, so sock up and bring us ALL THE SOCKS. The prize basket starts with TWO skeins of yarn from my personal, very coveted stash. For every 100 pairs of socks we collect, another skein gets added to the basket.

More socks = more yarn!!

Last year, you absolutely showed up. We collected 838 pairs of new socks plus 30 pairs of hand-knit socks, which were distributed throughout Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside through distro disco and donated to PHS Community Services Society
This year, we’re going bigger.
