Open Monday to Saturday 11am-6pm. Rath Art Supplies is more than just an art supply store. Of course we carry fine, professional art materials and an array of products for artists at all levels, but we are also a hub of sorts for local artists in Vancouver, B.C. Every month we feature the work of an artist in our shop window. You'll find the owner and staff members at openings all over the city throughout the year as well. We love our customers and we love art. And if you need custom canvas stretching or wood panels get in touch!

Well, I went a little crazy and I am surrounded by towers of Himi gouache sets, which I thought we're going to be a lot smaller when I ordered them! But the good news is, they were great prices at what I thought were mini kits and they are actually enormous and so many colours to choose from. These will be coming out for sale in the next couple of days. Also palettes, brush sets and gouache sketchbooks.

New colours! Derwent water-soluble coloured pencils. Still waiting for a few colours next week, but there are 72 colours...

New colours! Derwent water-soluble coloured pencils. Still waiting for a few colours next week, but there are 72 colours in the range. Twice as many than we had before! And I just learned after I selected all the new colours and completely rearranged the display that Derwent is actually rebranding these coloured pencils so I will have to redo it all entirely again, but they will be increasing the range to 100 colors. Good news bad news. Excited to see the new colours!

Boot #1 $150 ＣＨＲＩＳＴＩＮＡ ＨＲＹＣ and@streetarteagle - Christina says, "A few weeks ago I finally got around to painting some woodcuts I'd cut out years ago and then completely forgot what the heck I was ever planning to paint on them.
It's been super fun learning new techniques and fundamentals from Vince Dumoulin and getting more comfortable working with enamel paint and long brushes.
