Thanks to everyone who supported us on our Kickstarter, either by contributing or helping us spread the word.

While we failed on the funding target, the Kickstarter was a great success. We reached thousands of people, saw hundreds of new PreShow accounts opened and have confirmed 3 new productions will start with PreShow very soon.

This Kickstarter campaign is over, but we are not giving up on PreShow, or the funding available from the Canada Media Fund. We are already working on other funding options and are feeling good about our chances.

Thanks to our growing community of donors who have now contributed close to $20,000 dollars to the PreShow Kickstarter. PreShow supporter Ingrid Tamboline has pledged to SHAVE HER HEAD if we reach our Kickstarter goal. She'll even post the video to YouTube. What a gal!

If 1601 people give $25 each in the next 4 days, we'll have game-changing theatre production software AND a head-shaving YouTube video to watch!

Entertainment in the 21st century is changing, and I'm going to shave my head for the cause - for entertainment! :-) We go to theatre, see movies, watch TV, watch Webisodes online, go to concerts, ...

Many people opened their hearts to us on Valentine's Day, bringing the PreShow Kickstarter to 31% of our target! If we can find 1,623 more people to each give $25, we'll get there. Please keep sharing and caring!

Such an amazing number of familiar faces! With your help, 50 years from now they'll be planning the 100th anniversary performance with PreShow.

On 2 November we celebrate 50 years of the National Theatre with a special performance '50 years on stage.' Rehearsed over 5 weeks, it will feature more than 100 actors and 25 productions.

Inquiries from potential supporters have inspired us to put together this list of key concepts about PreShow and our Kickstarter. If you or friends have questions, hopefully these will answer them!

* This project has a short window of opportunity because of health and funding deadlines.
* A beta-testing version of the application is already available and has received rave reviews from writers, directors and stage managers.
* We have a strong backer in the Canada Media Fund (CMF) who will fund 75% of PreShow's launch with $177,000. We need to raise $59,000 as our matching 25%.
* Despite the strong CMF commitment, private investment has been elusive which is why we have turned to Kickstarter, which allows us to raise money through small individual contributions.
* Help us reach our funding goal of $59,000 with a pledge and you will receive:
a) access to the final version of PreShow at a huge discount,
b) some nice gifts,
c) the satisfaction of helping to put PreShow into the hands of every professional, educational and community creator of live shows.
* All or nothing - We only get the Kickstarter money if meet or exceed our funding target of $59,000.

They say that "God is in the details" and so is the show.
Every show is a collection of untold details, like blocking, costumes, props, and cues. PreShow holds all of this information in one central cloud space, creating a virtual preview of the show as the creative team builds it. Layers and layers of details can be added in the form of images, links and notes, so that every moment of the show can be worked to perfection!
