This is a very simple Mandala, based on the number4.

It begins with a central circle, bounded by 4 additional intersecting circles. Each circle is then divided into 4 leaves, met by 4 additional leaves. Each of those leaves then comprises other leaves. When we create a 4 element Mandala, we are calling out to east, west, north, and south.

I worked this piece steadily and with deep focus today. The number 4 is resonating with me. Until last week, I was one of four siblings and now there are three of us left.
Losing another family member once again has pointed out how impermanent we all are.
