Wood 🪵 Aluminum ⚙️ Vinyl 🪟 — the question we get asked more than any other.

Every material has its moment.
Every home has its answer.

WOOD - Nothing comes close to it! The gold standard. Timeless, heritage-approved, and available in 360+ finishes. It needs a little love over the years, but it gives back a lifetime of beauty.
*Perfect for heritage homes, high end renovations, and cottages.

ALUMINUM — Built for the bold. Slim profiles, maximum glass, and sightlines that disappear into the view. Low maintenance and engineered for large openings.
*The go-to for contemporary homes, commercial projects, and architectural builds.

VINYL — The one that works hard every single day. Energy efficient, low maintenance, and beautifully versatile.
*Whether you’re building new or replacing old, vinyl delivers — especially for family homes and budget-conscious projects.

Still not sure? That’s exactly what we’re here for.

We’ve been helping homeowners navigate this decision for 40+ years — and the best choice is always the one that fits your home, your lifestyle, and your vision. ✨

What if your windows are the most important design element in your home?

Over the course of our conversation, Sarah Harari has taken us on a remarkable journey—from New York City’s High Line to the forests of Belarus, and now the gardens of Versailles, and the Japanese concept of shakkei, or “borrowed scenery.”

And as our journey comes to a close, we find ourselves back where it all began: At the window.

While windows bring light into a home, they also do something equally important.

They frame the world beyond our walls. They shape perspective, connect us to nature, and influence how we experience a space every single day. 🪟 🌿✨

In this final clip, Sarah reflects on a timeless idea:

The landscape beyond a window isn’t separate from design—it’s a part of it.

Your home. Your choice.
Information is 👑

In this guide, we’re breaking down:
• Double pane vs. triple pane 🪟
• What Low-E coatings actually do ☀️
• Where each option makes sense 📍
• Why more isn’t always necessary ⚖️

The reality?

For most homes, a high-quality double pane window with Low-E coatings delivers the comfort, efficiency, and performance homeowners need.

Triple pane can provide additional benefits in specific applications-but it’s not the right solution for every project.

Most people see a construction site.

We see proportion.
Natural light.
The way each window contributes to the overall composition.

At this stage, every decision is visible.

The texture of the stone.
The scale of the windows.
The way natural light will move through the space for years to come.

Before a house becomes a home, there is raw beauty to it - and we think that’s worth appreciating. ✨

Episode 2 continues.

After exploring the energy and movement of New York City, Sarah Harari’s journey takes us somewhere far quieter — and far more
powerful.

Into the forests of Belarus.
Into landscapes shaped by survival, memory, and human resilience.

In this clip, Sarah reflects on the dugouts hidden deep within the forest where her grandfather and others survived during the Holocaust — spaces built not for comfort, but for survival.

A conversation about landscape architecture becomes something much deeper: how land can hold memory, trauma, refuge, and hope all at once.

The Window Seat — Full episode 2 is coming soon.

Here we go… the wait is over!

New York didn’t just build a park.
It changed the way people experience a city.

What happens when architecture stops being just buildings — and starts shaping emotion, movement, and human connection?

Full episode 2 of The Window Seat is coming soon BUT this conversation goes far beyond design.

🎥 The High Line, NYC.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Architecture isn’t aesthetic — it’s psychological. 🌿

Architecture affects the nervous system every single day. The spaces we live in quietly shape our mood, energy, sleep, focus, relationships, even anxiety levels. Natural light isn’t a luxury feature; it’s a biological need. ☀️

We’ve normalized dark homes, tiny windows, and disconnected spaces, then wonder why everyone feels overstimulated and exhausted.

Embrace light. ✨
