France has been so wonderful! Packed full of beauty. It reminds me again of the importance of choosing each piece that comes into our homes with care.

Spend a few minutes today thinking about how long you have owned a kitchen tool, towel or anything else in your home. Often it’s decades! So choose with care and pick the items that will last.

It’s officially spring — and every year at this time I find myself drawn to closets, clothes, and style.
Something I haven’t talked about much yet is one of the most common things I see holding people back in this space: our attachment to past versions of ourselves. It shows up everywhere in the home, but nowhere quite as visibly as in the closet.

Hi! There is a bunch of new faces on here so I thought I should re introduce myself! My name is Sarah and I am Sunlight Home Organizing.

My whole life I have been keenly interested in homes. What makes them feel right for the people that live in them? How surrounding ourselves with what’s uniquely us can support us and help us flourish. How shifting furniture and decorative pieces can totally refresh and transform a space.

It’s extremely satisfying for me to get to coach my clients to figure out what they really want to own. So that they can create a home that lifts them up and helps them focus on living the life they want to have.
