Today’s Tidepool Treasures workshop was all about creating without overthinking.

With this class, it can be hard to picture the finished piece while you’re shaping it, but that’s part of what makes it so much fun. We used soft, organic forms, lots of free shaping, and a little bit of winging it along the way.

Every bowl and vessel ended up completely unique, and that’s the beauty of this workshop. It’s a gentle reminder that you don’t always need a perfect plan for something beautiful to emerge.

I can’t wait to see these treasures once they’ve been glazed and fired 🩵

Birdbath Basin has quickly become one of our favourite pottery workshops!

I keep hearing, “This is my favourite workshop yet,” and today’s pieces were such a great mix of creativity.

We had birds perched on some of the birdbaths, a turtle, a sweet little lily pond, and even a tide pool with a seal tucked inside.

So much creativity in the studio today. I can’t wait to see them once they’re glazed.

It’s been a full week in the studio with three private workshops, lots of beautiful pieces being made, and a sweet birthday celebration last night. 💛

It’s definitely been a hot one, but I’m looking forward to welcoming another lovely group of ladies in tonight.

I always leave these evenings feeling so thankful for the creativity, laughter, and good energy that fills this little space!

Our Tide Pool Treasures Workshop is happening next Sunday from 10 - 12:30pm and we have one last spot available.

This is such a fun, relaxed class with lots of room to play and be creative. You’ll make 8–9 small vessels and learn how to use sea glass to create beautiful tide-pool inspired centres that melt into the clay during the firing process.

Every piece turns out a little different, and that’s the magic of this workshop. 💙

Such a fun Sunday in the studio!

Today’s Birdsong Basin Workshop was full of creativity.

We had hummingbirds, monarch butterflies, and the sweetest little bird all take shape in clay.

Glazing day is going to be so exciting, and I can’t wait to share the finished pieces once the makers have glazed them!

Yesterday was a fun, busy, creative kind of day in the studio with our first Tide Pool Treasures Workshop of the summer.

This place never stops amazing me. After every class, I find myself reflecting on all the creativity, connection, laughter, and beautiful moments that happen within these walls.

Such a great day in the studio.

And….today is all about Bird Baths!! 💗

Tide Pool Treasures are taking shape in the studio!

Saturday’s workshop is full, but I’ve added another one next Saturday before summer’s end.

Once melted sea glass is fused into each piece, they’ll become beautiful one of a kind coastal treasures that are perfect for gifting….. or keeping! 🩵💙
