Growing older doesn’t mean giving up the things you love.

Whether it’s gardening, painting, playing cards, baking, visiting with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon — our residents continue to make each day their own. ❤️

It’s Future Olympian Friday! 🚲🇨🇦

This weekend Alex “The Hurricane” Hutton is in Chilliwack, BC competing at the Canadian Grand Nationals!

We know how much work, determination, and heart Alex puts into his racing, and all of us at Cherish are cheering him on.

Best of luck, Alex! Go show them what The Hurricane can do! 🌪️🏁

This commercial may have been filmed a few years ago… but when it comes to the food at Cherish, not much has changed! 😉

Fresh ingredients, delicious meals, homemade soups, daily baking, and food made with care.

Some things are simply too good to change. ❤️🍽️

Home isn’t just where you live.

It’s where people know your name, notice when you walk into the room, share a laugh with you, and genuinely care how your day is going. ❤️

That’s the kind of community we work every day to create at Cherish.

Sometimes the best part of the day is simply sitting down with a friend, sharing a coffee, and having nowhere else you need to be. ❤️

Life at Cherish is about the big celebrations — and all the little moments in between.

Our Western-themed Barn Dance was a HUGE success! 🤠🎶

There was dancing, laughter, great food, and plenty of smiles all around.

Whoever said moving into a retirement community would be boring? 😉 Not around here!

These are the moments that make Cherish feel like home. ❤️

Peace of mind 🥰

🌟 FUTURE OLYMPIAN FRIDAY 🌟

Alex “The Hurricane” Hutton is back on the bike and putting in the work! 🚴‍♂️💨

After dealing with an injury, Alex is working hard to get race-ready ahead of the Canadian Grand Nationals next weekend — and last night’s practice was all about rebuilding, pushing forward, and getting those laps in. 💪

Alex is currently ranked 5th in all of Canada for 12-year-old boys 🇨🇦🔥 and we couldn’t be prouder of the determination he continues to show both on and off the track.

One practice. One lap. One goal at a time.

Go get ’em, Hurricane! 🌪️🏁

Last week, we were so grateful to welcome students from Belmont Secondary School to Cherish for a special afternoon of technology training with our residents. 💻📱💙

From phones and tablets to apps, settings and everyday tech questions, there was plenty of learning, laughter and great conversation along the way.

What made the visit even more special was the connection between generations. Our residents enjoyed the patience, knowledge and enthusiasm the students brought, and the feedback from everyone involved was incredibly positive.

A huge thank you to the students and staff from Belmont Secondary School for spending time with us and sharing your skills. We loved having you at Cherish and hope to welcome you back again soon! 💕
