Thank you to everyone who came out to last weekend's Scattered Artists Tour - all 250 people who came for a visit and took something home.

Onward to create some new work for my next market June 6-7. I will be in a garden perched on a cliff in East Sooke, so suitable work to display would be like this vibrant acrylic painting of a windswept tree. It was created in a workshop with artist David Langevin. I am already creating my versions using techniques he generously shared.

I had a productive day of finishing some small projects for upcoming artist tours. It's actually a long process of preparation for the resin windows, e.g. sourcing appropriate coloured
glass from thrift stores, then breaking and tumbling it for 3-5 days, or/and beachcombing for seaglass. Also, finding frames, cleaning,
and sealing them. And, creating a design and digging through my tumbled glass and shells to find pieces that fit into the design. The actual gluing, resin pouring and blasting the heat gun on the bubbles are the final steps.

I look forward to sharing my processes at the upcoming May 23-24 art tour.
