Striking Art Piece.

While wandering downtown Palm Springs during the art walk, we stopped in front of this powerful art piece of Muhammad Ali - mid-growl, boxing gloves on, pure determination frozen in time.

My oldest had just finished the Ali book, and seeing them recognize him instantly was one of those quiet parenting moments that sticks.

The quote on the piece, by Muhammad Ali, read:
“Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”

Standing there with our daughters, it felt like more than art. A quiet but powerful lesson in resilience, discipline, and showing up even when it’s hard - the kind of message you hope sinks in early.

Palm Springs is known for art that lives outdoors, shaped by desert light, culture, and conversation. Exploring together as a family.
