Ryan is the owner of the award winning business Knotty by Nature. We have become the leading local fibre retailer by building community & sharing our love for the fibre arts. Our goal is for the store to be a welcoming place, for novices to experts to explore the fibre arts. We have a nice comfy couch to sit and visit on, and we offer unique services such as a "knitting needle exchange," a communi

The yarn library is full!! There are so many great patterns and yarns in the fridge, thank you to all of our community for consistently filling up the fridge and sharing your resources with other fibre folk.

Have you ever wanted to learn to make your own yarn the same way our ancestors did thousands of years ago? Try our drop spindle class this Saturday!

Or join our wet felting class on Sunday to learn how to make fabric from incredibly soft merino roving. These historical techniques are still used today because they are incredibly versatile - once you know how to wet felt, you have the building blocks to learn how to make everything from hats to scarves and more.

Join us Saturday from 10 AM - 12:30 for drop spindle or Sunday 1 PM - 4 PM for wet felting 🧶
