Last summer, reached out with a breathtaking gallery from a wedding we had the honour of being part of at Cedar Haven. Seeing those images stopped me in my tracks.
Every bouquet featured in that celebration was thoughtfully designed using hand-grown, hand-harvested blooms from . It is a privilege I don’t take lightly—to grow and create something so meaningful, right here at home.
This past year has brought profound change. In 2025, I stepped back from work to navigate a deeply challenging chapter in my personal life. After ten years, I made the difficult decision to part ways with my partner, facing the possibility of letting go of the country acreage we purchased together. It was a time that truly reshaped me.
Amidst that transition, my children’s father was diagnosed with advanced bone and liver cancer. Together, as a family, we chose to bring him home and care for him through his final days. That experience, while incredibly difficult, brought with it perspective, connection, and lessons that will stay with us always.
So, to now see these flowers—grown with intention—held in moments of love and celebration feels especially significant. It is a reminder of why this work matters.
