Happy International Women's Day!

As per our tradition on this day we are reflecting on the past accomplishments of women, celebrating the strong women of today whilst imagining what wonderful things lie ahead. This day is one of my favourites as there are so many discussions happening. Folks are sharing stories of inspiring women, there are videos and statistics celebrating achievements, but also data emphasizing how far we still have to go to achieve true equality.

Today, Sunday, we give out roses to our female customers for them to keep for themselves or to give to a woman they admire. We are open until 5 pm so come on by and say hello (first come first served while supplies last).

And speaking of giving, this year's theme is Give To Gain. We encourage you to donate what you can to a charity that helps women or to a woman run organization today.
