Kayleigh's Kurios

I have had to close my online shop again due to these new 50% US tarriffs.
I'm hopeful to reopen to my Canadian customers at least, once I figure this all out.

New charms, soon to be in our Etsy shop as zip charms and keyrings!

We've been incommunicado for a bit and it will continue for a bit more, so our shops will all remain closed for now.
I can't sit and do nothing though, so I taught myself to needlefelt while sitting with my lovely dad in hospice in Scotland, making the bigger snowman on the right, finishing his hat by Dad's bedside once he got home. So he is a very special snowman.
The other snowman I made for our daughter as we give her a snowman every year at Christmas, and the British robin is a favourite bird of mine. Needlefelting is very therapeutic, but is painful if I get tired, miss the wool and stab my fingers instead.

With the very disappointing news today (19th May) of another Canada Post postal strike starting on 23rd May, we have decided to close our online Etsy shops for now. We live in a very rural area, with Canada Post being the only affordable option for shipping for our small family business. Our items are still available in our real life shop on our farm, so anyone who can pick up their items from our farm near Warburg, Alberta, Canada, is still welcome to contact us directly.

Our local pony club is hosting a silent auction right now, so if you ever wanted to sample our products, here is your chance, whilst also supporting a great sport club for kids!
We donated a gift box of our garlic products, a pair of our original design wood/fabric coasters, and a Spring Bunnies paint kit (contains the bits for two bunny ornaments, paint, glue, brushes) Click on the link and find the items in the "discussion". Bid in the comments. Closes on Monday.

Due to the current Canada Post strike action, our online Esty shops are taking an unplanned break, hopefully a very short one at this, our busiest, time of year. We will be at the Warburg Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 23rd Nov and after that, we will be selling from our farm. Hopefully we can re-open our online Etsy shop soon.

I just love these little bee zip charms I added today to our online Etsy crafty shop. The honeycomb is cute too, but the shiny bees with sparkly wings are so sweet.

We will be there with some of our locally crafted items, made in our workshop near Warburg.

We've been hard at work the last few days designing and creating our new range of coasters and ornaments. There are still more in the works. We will have some of these at the Warburg Chriatmas Bazaar, coming up soon. Or if you can't wait and want one, contact me here 🙂

Guess who inspired this one! I'm particularly proud of this one as it is from a picture I drew last week, then drew onto computer. The pilot in the family had to tweak the wings a bit though, as apparently they were not quite at the correct angle for a plane 🙄😁😆
