Yet another job to be done in the chicken coop!

This one is going to make my life a lot easier!!!

Don’t worry egg customers, we keep any poopy ones for ourselves or the dogs 🫣🫣🫣

This chicken coop will be good one of these days!

In the meantime,

Take a look at all of those rainbow coloured eggs 🤩🤩🤩

We’re back to a waitlist for our organic fed, pasture raised eggs this week!

Comment “eggs” down below or send me a message if you’d like on the list!!

Come plant garlic with me!!

I’ve never planted garlic before, but I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of farmers before I made my final game plan!

I’m hoping to have enough available for our egg customers come early summer!

And yes garlic scrapes in the spring too!!!

This is all such a huge learning curve as a first generation farmer,

But it’s one step closer to self sufficiency and I’m here for it!!

We put a new roof on the chicken coop!

Nothing like a great big giant project right in the middle of a busy season in our other two businesses!

The ceremony tent is coming down at the end of the month, so there are lots of private retreats and journeys, 1:1 Shamanic Healing, circles and ceremonies happening inside of Sacred Self Empowered,

And we’re already taking Christmas orders for Custom Metal Signs!

But these ladies deserve a DRY winter.

Something I don’t think they’ve ever had!

Last year was our first winter and we thought covering the roof with insulated tarps would help.

It didn’t.

But so far, we’ve had rain 3 times and not a single drop has entered into the coop!!

Operation give the chicken coop a new roof is a success!!!

I don’t mind that the ravens stole 30 eggs if it means they consider it an offering and are protecting my free ranging chickens from eagles!!

This eagle hung out here for HOURS yesterday stocking my chickens and the ravens wouldn’t let it anywhere near!

So grateful 🥹🙏💜

Just a reminder!

Don’t wash your farm fresh eggs!!

They last so long with the bloom still in tact!!

Every day as a new homesteader, I learn something new!

Sometimes, I have to learn the lesson more than once for it to actually stick!!

This one is too expensive to have to learn again!

Get ready egg customers!

Coming up soon, more blue eggs!

DARK chocolate brown eggs (maybe just 1 per carton 😜💁🏻‍♀️)!

And hopefully, with new ladies joining us,

We can avoid the egg production slow down that comes with fall moulting!!

Introducing, our new flock!
