Wedding season is here….. buy them something handmade from Thistlewood! If you give me a heads up that it’s a wedding present being shipped out, I’ll take a few extra steps to make it pretty for when they open it up. I can add a note so they know who it’s from. I have some pretty hand painted cards in the store if you want to pay a little extra for a pretty note.

Fishing dad mug - with the fun teaser fish inside that disappears and reappears as he drinks his coffee!

This post is also a teaser post since this mug isn’t yet available. It has been available and will be available. I have 4 that I’m working on right now. I likely could even ship the first week of June in time for Father’s Day…

This mug is completely hand drawn and hand painted with glazes by me. You’ll find it to be imperfect, but so fun! It for sure will be available instore.

As today comes to a close, I just have to come on here and say thank you! My heart is full and happy! Every single stem was sold. I could have sold even more than I did. You were excited about your Mother’s Day flowers and pottery treasures that you chose. I love to see what each of you take home for your loved ones or for yourself. My other favorite part is chatting and catching up with friends-

As a fun little note- some of you come into my store and wonder how this little shop does way out in the boondocks. This weekend I did have a wee bit of fomo as I knew my favourite Scattered Seeds Market event was going on. So many of you my customers do like to shop at that venue…. As I’m the only florist in town, I kinda had to commit to remaining at my store this weekend. I really didn’t think the dollars would match…. But THREE CHEERS to the town of Whitemouth and surrounding area. You did it! You topped all Mother’s Day weekend sales since I started in 2020. I didn’t miss out on any market. That market was here. The store was busy busy all week long. It makes it so worthwhile to know you love are handmade treasures and pretty flowers and coffee as much as I do! Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!
