⁣In times like these, being couped up at home may have its challenges, but it’s also in these moments that I am especially grateful to have a place to call home. 🏡💕⠀
⠀
Since we’re all spending a lot more time indoors, this is the perfect opportunity to give your home a refresh! Something I love doing is rearranging my furniture, as it can make a big impact without denting your wallet. Or consider painting a wall or two, or three. 😉That’s what I plan to do this month!⠀

And now for some inspiration, here’s a few before and afters of the Welo Residence project. I love how the living room feels a lot larger and brighter while still maintaining a warmth to it.⠀

Designing and executing this home was a dream! So thankful for my amazing clients who trusted my vision.

Let’s start with their kitchen which had a lot of orange, yellow, beige and more orange. The clients were ready for a change so we went with a refreshing colour palette to brighten up the home. The kitchen had good bones so we didn’t need to install new cabinetry (besides extending the island) so we opted to paint them which turned out great! We installed beautiful, white quartz countertops and used elongated hexagonal tiles for the backsplash. You’ll find black and brass accents sprinkled throughout the home. ⠀

⁣We’re already 10 days in.. but happy 2020 everyone! 🥳 I am so grateful for the opportunities that 2019 brought and I look forward to what 2020 has in store. ✨ ⠀

With such a large, empty space to begin with, there were many elements we brought into this living room in order to make it cozy and perfect for hosting! ⠀

We opted to go with a big, comfy sectional paired with some tufted chairs and ottomans to provide ample seating. It was difficult to find art to fill the large wall space so we decided to go custom and had these wall panels made.⠀

The master bedroom initially felt gloomy and dark. By adding soft, textural elements into the room like the patterned wallpaper, rug and drapery, it really came to life! Swipe for before ➡️ @ Windermere, Edmonton

Who here loves a good, geometric wallpaper? ⭐️ When using wallpaper as the focal point in a room, I like to keep everything around it clean and simple.
