We’re hiring a Floral Designer 🌿
Songbird Florals is looking for an experienced floral designer to join our team in a part-time role (15–20 hours/week), with the opportunity to grow into full-time with potential for a leadership position over time.
We’re a design-focused shop that values seasonal product, natural colour palettes, and work that feels balanced, intentional, and well-made.
This is a hands-on role in a working flower shop, so we’re looking for someone who can design confidently, work efficiently, and move comfortably between creativity and the day-to-day rhythm of shop life.
You should:
•Have 3 years minimum floral design experience (retail shop experience preferred)
•Have a strong eye for colour, proportion, and composition
•Be consistently reliable and detail-oriented
•Be comfortable taking direction and working within an established style
•Be able to design independently without constant supervision
•Be able to lift heavy buckets and boxes
•Be available on major holidays and weekends
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking to grow with a shop over time.
