This is by far my favourite thing about Ophelia’s bedroom 🤍

As an interior designer, I’m someone who likes to think about details intentionally. Within a space, there’s a lot of opportunity to add personalization with little items, and that’s what I did specifically when it came to her wall art.

I got to work with Sarah at on this project and we did two embroidered frames, one with Ophelia’s name, and the other with the words “I love you” written in Ophelia’s handwriting.

For me, this is going to be a keepsake that remains long after Ophelia outgrows this space.

Finally highlighting work on the Grondin Project! 🤎

This project was all about rethinking how the home functions for real life.

When I was first brought in, the living room was laid out in the opposite direction with a large TV that unintentionally broke up the space. It made entertaining feel disconnected, like each area was doing its own thing.

By flipping the layout and relocating the TV, we were able to open everything up while still giving the living room its own identity. Now the flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas feels seamless, especially when hosting.

We also added a dedicated coffee bar moment to extend the kitchen and bring more balance into the dining space. The shelving allowed us to layer in styling and soften the heaviness of the cabinetry nearby.

Finished with updated lighting and furnishings, this space finally feels cohesive, functional, and complete, exactly what my clients were hoping for.

When it came to the White Oaks project, one of the biggest things we wanted to accomplish was to create cohesiveness through the entire main floor of the house.

This house was built over 140 years ago. When we initially did the walkthrough, the one thing we noticed was that the character on the left side of the house was missing from the right. So we worked with to help bring the entire home together!

I’m so excited to finally be sharing my branding images with you! 🤍

This brand shoot marks a major shift within my business. Lately, I’ve been shifting my design style, welcoming bigger opportunities, and learning a lot of lessons along the way. Because of that, I wanted this shoot to feel grounded, empowering, and welcoming as I enter this new era of my business.

I want to send a big thank you .harris.photography. She did an amazing job capturing my vision for this photoshoot, and I can’t wait to work with her again on future projects!

The husbands get so mad at me when I share this tip 🤣

Decorative pillows can be an expensive purchase, especially when you’re wanting to change them out every season.

So I always tell my clients that if they want to keep pillow swapping more affordable, save money by getting affordable pillows for inserting, but then spend money on the pillow covers! Pillow covers are significantly less expensive when you aren’t having to buy a new pillow as well. My go-to places to buy my pillow covers are [List your recs!]

Plus, it’s great way to sneak new home upgrades in without your partner seeing 😉

If there’s one thing I’ve learned working in design for the past eight years… ⬇️

It’s that when clients design their space alone, they can run into problems or discussions that they didn’t even consider or often slip their mind.

There’s a lot of things that interior designers are able to help with that go beyond just making a space look nice. This can include professional assessments to help identify new potential and layout options to may not have considered, managing the logistics behind renovations to save you time and stress, help you prioritize your budget (because your home can still look luxurious without the high price tag) and of course, high-quality and long lasting results that you’re going to love for years to come.

Popped into the Kindered project a few weeks ago and thought I would share some of the highlights! 🧱

This project is a full design build in collaboration with Elevate 2 Builders and Felix Culpa Architecture.

As you can see, the renovation is well underway! We are headed into the drywall phase, I’m excited to really start seeing the designs come to life.
