Creative Challenge:
Using a Set Color Combo

This month’s Creative Challenge invites you to design a project using
Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Strawberry Slush, and Timid Tiger.

While this color palette feels bold when represented in cardstock, we chose a softer look for our Birthday Wishes Card by coloring black-and-white Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper with Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Strawberry Slush, and Timid Tiger Classic Stampin’ Pads and Blender Pens. Timid Tiger also shows up in the sentiment and Daffodil Delight shines through the honeycomb paper, softened with a layer of vellum. Will you go bold—or soften the palette?

Supply List for Birthday Wishes Card:

Stamps:
Words & Wishes Bundle

Ink:
Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad
Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad
Strawberry Slush Classic Stampin’ Pad
Timid Tiger Classic Stampin’ Pad

Hello Stampers!

Today's card is one I received in the mail from the fabulous Kristine John!

She used the scrappy strip technique to create this beauty.

1/2" strips of dsp were adhered to a white card mat, trimmed and then added to the Mossy Meadow card base.

How many strips of DSP do you have in your stash? How many cards could you make using this technique?

All this week I have some beautiful cards to share with you. This week's theme is Flora & Fauna.

To kick it off this week's Global Design Project was a color challenge. We were to use three of the new in-colors in our project- Crisp Cantaloupe, Hydrangea Hue, and Golden Glow.

Here is my card. I used the new All Aflutter punch bundle along with the Paradise Garden embossing folder.
