Oak & Lion

10/12/2026

Less than a week until The Scattered Seeds market. As usual, I have groups of gnomes that are •almost• done. Finishing them is my favourite stage of the process.

These wee gnomes have been cut out, sewn, stuffed, beards and hats added and then handmade noses as the finishing piece.

My favourite part of the gnome making process is when they start to come together at the end. These mushroom gnomes are a mid of machine and hand work. Their red tops are hand sewn on, then the white dots are glued one at a a time. Each one takes about 90 minutes to make (even the tiny ones!)
