An amazing thank you to everyone that was involved! Over 100 items including canned food, dry food, treats and toppers were collected! We're still counting up the entry fee, raffle ticket, and other monies but it's safe to say that we've put a good dent in the vet bill!

Thank you to the individuals and businesses that made our grand prizes possible! Thank you to VERONICA W. For making the lotto tree possible, for their Game Package Deal, for the seed packet wreath and huge 5x2 6ft tall planter/privacy fence!

Our crafters and artists and small business owners of the like mostly operate out of their own home on a small desk or even a kitchen table. These people are real people just like you and I. They don't go to space like Jeff Bezos or use child labour like Nestlé or have to install su***de nets in their factories like Apple. They're regular old fashioned people with an entrepreneurial creative streak that inspires them to share their creations with the public!

I would like to ask you to please shop local this holiday. Your hard earned money will support an honest working family rather than fund a CEO's new yacht.

Introducing, ARTEL Studio! Elena El is a fine artist specializing in Winnipeg cityscapes. Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas. She is a member of Assiniboia Group of Artists Cooperative.

Elena's paintings have been featured on CBC National TV, CBC Manitoba Scene, Breakfast TV Winnipeg, Winnipeg Free Press, WHERE Winnipeg.

Elena studied classic drawing and painting at the college of Fine Arts (Odessa, Ukraine) and graduated from College of Design (Haifa, Israel). She has illustrated more than 15 children's books and has worked as a graphic designer for advertising agencies and magazines.
In 2006 Elena made Winnipeg her home. Her studio is located at cre8ery gallery.

We. Are. So. Lucky to have her coming to the Holiday Bazaar!!!!!!!!! Wow!
