Hello Dear Friends,
I’m glad to announce that I received funding from Canada Council for the Arts for a research project I’m currently working on. And I'll like to use this opportunity to sincerely appreciate the Canada Council for the Arts for believing in this idea and supporting its development.
The goal of this research is to generate a comprehensive digital database of more than 30,000 ceramic glaze recipes. At this stage, I’m looking for eight dedicated, like-minded people "Volunteers"who are ready to work with me on the project. We'll meet twice monthly to work on the project.
As a participant, you will gain practical experience and learn how ceramic materials interact with metallic oxides to produce different glaze colours, surfaces and effects.
