It seems so obvious when you see it side by side!

When selecting which light fixture to use in your space, have you considered how much light it is really pushing down to the floor? The Liteline No Glare Guide shows that typical wafer lights lack the optics to direct light down to the floor effectively, and the light pools closer to the ceiling. However, on the other side, you can see that a LUNA fixture with similar lumens has a much higher footcandle. This means that the optics within the fixture are pushing the light to the floor so you would require fewer fixtures to have ample lighting in the space.

We would like to thank Rita Talwar, Principal of . Because of Rita, we were able to place 2nd in the Amazing Application Image Contest.

The judge of this contest, Richard Stellar, described Soma Interiors Wellington Residence Project, as an immaculate post-modern residential interior design, which is accentuated by the tastefully dramatic use of linear LED in both the ceiling and undercabinet. The lighting design provides a warm counterpoint with the stark white walls that balances out the wood floors.
