So with all the renos and moving vendors around, this piece has sat in my office since April. I finally got around to finding a new space in the shop. And what a coincidence, I just realized that this little girl died 115 years ago to the day! She was born March 11, 1900 and died August 20, 1909. This was her daily outfit. I also have a photo and her diary. There was a Free Press article done on her life story Saturday June 28th, 2014.

This is by far one of the most stunning pieces we've ever had in the shop. Hard to believe it was pulled from a house fire. The intense heat blistered the original stain/finish. It was sent of to Steve at Prairie Winds Interiors and Refishing. If you have that special piece you want refinished, Steve's your guy.
