Lovin life and feeling grateful 🙏

Even though I am getting over a terrible chest infection I had to do a happy dance after being mistaken for a student... when I'm actually the teacher!😵

My birthday is Thursday... happy birthday to all my Libra's!!!

Here is a funny intro to my newest rescue kitten Mouse... his cameo is iconic 😹🐭

I am loving my new teaching job! My students are incredible.

Shout out to my Besties Heather Jayne Perlov Lady Lilith and Jessica West who listen to me almost every day (or take turns) and are all super inspiring to me... they are also probably so sick of listening to me ahaha 😅

So can you guess? 🤔

Cinderella really did say it best ✨️

"No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing. The dream that you wish will come true."

Even during the deepest part of my grief I started over with my kids. Got myself into a healthy routine where my body feels strong, good and young! Find self love.
Fall in love.

And tomorrow I start my new job... my DREAM JOB!!!

Last Friday I lost my #1 fan.

Anyone who knows me or knew my dad knows the amazing supportive relationship we had. My dad always told me that I was destined for great things and that I am a bird that cannot be caged. 🐦

Well now you are the free bird dad. Two years of fighting cancer and you took your final flight. Live beyond this world pain free and watch over all of us. You were and always will be the "Ray"s of sunshine in my life 🌞 even on a cloudy day 🌤

I will go on living my life to the fullest like I promised you. No one will ever stand in my way... especially me. You taught me that. When life is short and fleeting every day counts. So I will continue to...

Be BRAVE
Be BOLD
Be INSPIRING
Be HAPPY
BE ME 🥰

This song is for you Dad. I know how much you loved to hear me sing and how much you wanted me to share it with the world
Let my authentic singing voice (just the way you taught me) reach you wherever you are. 🎶

Until we meet again,

I love you Daddykins 🩷

Meet Pam — the newest instructor joining the Make It Sew team! ✂️🧵

Many of you know Pam as one of Brittany’s students, and now she’s stepping into the classroom to teach her very own workshop: Learn to Sew: Pants with Pam 👖✨

Pam first learned to sew from her grandma, who taught her the fundamentals and inspired her love for creating by hand. In recent years, creators on TikTok and online sewing communities reignited her passion for sewing, especially upcycling and working with thrifted materials.

She believes sewing is both a creative outlet and a way to live more sustainably, and she’s excited to help others create garments that are functional, comfortable, stylish, and uniquely their own.

We are so proud to watch one of our students grow into an instructor and share her passion with our sewing community. 💛
