September 10th—the doors of Galerie Joseph on Rue de Turenne are open. It’s . Tankila Studio presents "Malaïka," a unique, all-female collection—a sublime elevation of the African female creator and an "interplay between craftsmanship and contemporary African design."
Curated by Brussels-based Congolese artist-designer Mireille Asia Nyembo, the exhibition showcases the work of creators Nadia Adanle (Benin), Solange Kibunga and Consolé Katungu (DR Congo), and Carmen Egger (Austria).
Here is our team in Paris: Joseph Tankwey, Carmen Egger, and M.A. Nyembo.
Thank you for bringing to life our vision of introducing design professionals and enthusiasts to the richness and distinctiveness of design created in Africa—and the DRC in particular.
The exhibition is open to the public from September 10 to 14, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, at , 116 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris.
