Siesta at Gemsbergbrunnen. Norwegian designer and architect Ingmar Relling designed the Siesta armchairs in 1965. Relling succeeded in realising the human in simplicity. Not spectacularly, but always with the requirement of discipline and accuracy with the philosophy that his creations enable people to benefit greatly in their daily lives.
A vintage high back with armrests and ottoman in dark brown leather. Excellent condition. Such a beauty. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

The Haussmann Chair. A great example of Swiss Mid Century furniture design. The Haussmann couple made a rounded chesterfield variation on licht steel legs. Keeping the comfort and the details in the leather upholstered seating, but yet creating a much lighter piece of furniture. Stands perfectly together with Arne Vodders tallboy and Niels Rasmussen Thykiers iconic 1940-ies table lamp “Kongelys”. If still looking for some new interior pieces before Christmas, a high quality vintage piece is the answer. The quality and craftsmanship to a good price and as a bonus the patina and surfaces that takes a long time to acquire is already there. Come around to look the feel of real quality, and bring a true furniture icon back home for Christmas.

Herbstmesse in Basel. We got new art on the wall. Two large canvases by Basel artist-duo .and.alex_art. Size 170x150 cm. I love how this painting sets the focal point in the room, and how well contrasting elements works together with old and new classical furniture from .a.d_furniture, and . ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
