Using both a potter’s wheel and a variety of hand-building techniques, Sandra Sheckter creates a wide range of gorgeous, yet highly functional ceramics that will enhance any table, desk or shelf. All of her ceramics are extremely durable, lead-free, and dishwasher and microwave safe. She has curated, written, and lectured extensively on East Asian art at universities and museums in England and the

It’s always important to me that my ceramics are not only beautiful, but also highly functional, so one of the best compliments I’ve had is when this gorgeous man who loves to bake said that he prefers making tarts with my dish over his Le Creuset. He says it makes the perfect crispy crust. And don’t you just love the way the polka dots peek out as the pie gets eaten?
