Bernese artist (Switzerland) Hedwig-Hayoz Häfeli (*1935) has been working in the fields of painting and sculpture since the 1960s. Since 1976, she has consistently exhibited her artwork at her own premises in Bern, providing art enthusiasts with the opportunity to experience
her captivating creations firsthand. With her profound artistic vision, she has crafted over 1,500 paintings and more than 500 small sculptures as part of her Life Stones series. Additionally, her larger-scale bronze sculptures, renowned for their depth and intricacy, adorn public spaces and private collections worldwide. Her journey as an artist, shaped by esteemed mentors such as Max von Mühlenen, Rudolf Mumprecht and Gottfried Keller, has led to international recognition, including awards at international competitions such as the Grand Prix de Monte Carlo. Her work was supported by the Swiss National Bank, the Dresdner Bank Duisburg, the Berner Kantonalbank, the Mobiliar Versicherung Bern, the Bürgi-Willert-Stiftung Bern and the Sparkasse der Stadt Herne.
