30 Jahre peka Polen – alles begann mit einem Nationalspieler der polnischen Eishockey-Mannschaft 🏒
✨Damals arbeitete peka bereits mit einem Kugellagerlieferanten aus dem Schwarzwald zusammen, wo auch ein ehemaliger polnischer Nationalspieler im Eishockey tätig war: Richard Piechutta.
💡 Er kannte unsere Produkte bestens und erkannte das Potenzial in seiner Heimat: Im Grossraum Poznań gab es unzählige Schreinereien – aber kaum moderne und funktionierende Auszugsysteme. Ex-CEO, Peter Weber, erinnert sich gut an seine Worte: „Du musst unbedingt mit mir eine Firma in Polen gründen.“
🚌 Gesagt, getan. Gemeinsam machten sie sich mit unserem Expobus auf eine Sondierungsreise nach Polen und 1996 wurde der Traum Wirklichkeit: Der Vertriebsstandort peka Polen wurde gegründet.
🚀 Die Anfangsjahre waren alles andere als einfach. Doch mit Beharrlichkeit, Mut und dem richtigen Team entwickelte sich der Standort Schritt für Schritt weiter.
🤝 Heute, 30 Jahre später, blicken wir mit Stolz auf drei Jahrzehnte peka Polen zurück. Auf Menschen mit Visionen. Auf mutige Entscheidungen. Und auf eine Erfolgsgeschichte, die täglich weitergeschrieben wird.

30 years of peka Poland – it all started with a player from the Polish national ice hockey team 🏒
✨ Back then, peka was already working with a ball bearing supplier from Germany’s Black Forest region, where a former Polish national ice hockey player was also employed: Richard Piechutta.
💡 He knew our products inside out and immediately recognised the potential in his home country: the Poznań region was home to countless carpentries – but there was hardly any availability of modern and functional pull-out systems. Former CEO, Peter Weber, still remembers his words clearly:
“You absolutely have to start a company in Poland with me.”
🚌 No sooner said than done. Together, they set off on an exploratory trip to Poland with our Expo Bus and, in 1996, the dream became reality: the peka Poland sales location was founded.
🚀 The early years were anything but easy. But with perseverance, courage and the right team, the location continued to grow step by step.
🤝 Today, 30 years later, we proudly look back on three decades of peka Poland. On people with vision. On bold decisions. And on a success story that continues to grow every single day.
